The Parent/Teacher league at Grace Christian Academy exists to assist the school in providing support for each student, parent and staff member.  Membership is open to all parents/guardians, teachers and administration with parents providing the leadership. 

During each school year, the league accomplishes its goals through the services and work of various committees and sub-committees, i.e. Parents in Prayer, School Picnic, Athletic Boosters, Staff Appreciation Day, etc.

Dear Parents,

The PTL Board would like to welcome you to the 2006/07 school year!

We are very excited about the opportunity to work with you this year for the benefit of the staff and students.  You, the GCA parents, are the Parent Teacher League.  It is because of your input and faithful service that we are able to carry out the mission of the PTL... "To help create an enjoyable, supportive environment for children and teachers, and to foster a spirit of fellowship and community within the GCA family."

Room Party Planners and Party Money:  We are looking for one or two parents for each class to coordinate the five room parties listed below.  You may plan all five parties yourself or solicit other parents in the class to take responsibility for a party.  Again this year, we will be collecting $10 per child for all five parties.  Contact the school office to volunteer to help.

As a parent, this is a tremendous opportunity to get involved!  Great things happen when you step out and make yourself available.  Getting involved gives you the opportunity to meet the children in your child's class.  Your child spends a great deal of time with these children; it is a blessing to get to know them.  It also gives you the opportunity to get to know the other teachers and staff and to develop friendships with the other wonderful parents.
