I have spent twenty plus years in education, and have
served as a principal, teacher, and coach in both Christian and public schools.
I have a Bachelors degree in Business Education and a Masters degree in
Educational Administration. In addition to my educational experience, I served
three years as pastor of First Baptist Church of Iowa Falls, Iowa, and prior to that, I
spent seven years providing education, counseling, and mentoring to "at risk"
boys within a ranch type setting located in Wyoming. I believe God created me
to work with children and it remains my greatest pleasure. My life passage is I
Cor. 9:19-22. " I have become all things to
all men, that I might by all means save some."

"I have been working at GCA for the past 19 plus years, but have been involved with the school since its inception. I have such a heart for our school and a desire to see it grow to its full God ordained potential! All four of my sons attended GCA and now my granddaughter is a student as well! As you can see the gift keeps on giving!"

"I am so blessed by the wonderful teachers and staff that I've had the privilege of working with at GCA over the past few years. I graduated from Truman State University with a Masters Degree in Elementary Education. I taught fifth grade in a public school for one year before deciding to begin teaching at a Christian preschool and have never returned. I love having the opportunity to teach young children about God and academics with the support of Bible-based curriculum! I have three children of my own who currently attend GCA and have grown so much spiritually and academically since being here. My husband is involved in coaching our oldest son's basketball team and likes to help out whenever he can. GCA is like our extended family!"

"Hi! I am Cindy Fry and I have taught kindergarten for over 20 years. I love working with this age because of their enthusiasm about learning. It is exciting to see them become more independent and to watch their eyes light up when they begin reading. I graduated from University of Missouri with a teaching certificate in Learning Disabilities and Elementary Education. Except for during the summer, I have always taught in Christian Schools. It is important to me to be able to teach the children about God and His great love for us. If a child does not know Jesus as their savior; but has great intellectual knowledge they will not be saved and all is lost. It is the goal of GCA that all will know Jesus as their Savior and become the individuals that God wants them to be."

I have a B. S. plus additional schooling from Southern Illinois University/Edwardsville. I am certified to teach Elementary K-6, Middle School Language Arts, Health, and Physical Education. During my years at GCA (more than twenty years), I have taught second, fourth, fifth, health, and physical education. I especially enjoy teaching fifth grade because it is such an important year of transition from elementary into middle school. I also appreciate working with parents to help their children realize their academic potential and discern their individual gifts. My three children are graduates of GCA and have made some lifelong friends here. GCA provides a quality “education with purpose” and is truly a blessed place to attend and work!

"I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Masters of Education in Special Education. I have taught a total of 20+ years, and the majority of those years have been at Grace Christian Academy. Through the years, I have taught grades Preschool, 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, and 8. I am the director of the Summer Camp Program here at GCA."
"I have two children, both of whom graduated from GCA. I believe strongly that it takes the student, family and school working together in order for our children to succeed in their education. Education at Grace Christian Academy includes the whole child: body, mind, and spirit and that is what makes GCA so special."

"I have a BA in Biblical Studies and have been teaching since 1983. I have been involved with many areas of Christian education; from coaching to summer care, bus driving to administrative work. There is no place like the classroom. GCA has been a great place for me and my family. My wife works here, my daughters graduated from here and now my grandchildren attend GCA."

"I enjoy the "ah-ha" moment students get when they realize that God is the foundation of scientific principles and the Bible is the reference for scientific truth. I believe when students learn the applicability of both science and math they are more apt to learn and enjoy the subject matter. I have taught middle school science and math at GCA since 2004. I have many years of tutoring experience in both science and math from early elementary to the collegiate level. I have a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and I am a life-long learner in both science and math."

"I have had the privilege to serve God at Grace Christian Academy as the PE Teacher/Athletic Director since 2006. I enjoy working along side of godly staff members, administration and families here at Grace. It brings a smile to my face everyday to interact with the students and watch as they grow in their knowledge of the different aspects of Physical Education. I have my Bachelors Degree in Christian Education and have worked in college athletics and in church ministry as a youth pastor. I have a lovely wife Liz that teaches at another Christian school in the area. Serving together in Christian schools brings blessings to both of our lives."
